Events at Sunnyside

Sunnyside Plant sales are on the first Sunday of every month (apart from January)

From 1pm till 4pm

This is a social event, and is a way to get to know other people who live in the local area. As well as plants grown by our volunteers for sale, we have a tea and cake stall, a bike maintenance workshop and other seasonal activities. 

 

 

 

December 2025

Sunday 7th December 2025 – 1pm till 4pm – Plant Sale – Wreath Making

Monday 8th December 2025 – 7pm till 10pm – Volunteer Winter Party – Venue T.B.C.

*Dress Code, (not suitable for gardening)
Optional theme “Found in the garden” think… leaves, flowers and secateurs…

 

Friday 19th December 2025 – 10:30am till 4pm – Last day of volunteer gardening in 2025, come in for seasonal wishes, mince pies and card games.

*Sunday 21st December 2025 – 03.03.01 PM – Winter Solstice – Shortest day and longest night in London

Thursday 25th December 2025 – Bank Holiday – Christmas Day

Friday 26th December 2025 – Bank Holiday – Boxing Day

Sunnyside hibernates for a fortnight over mid-winter… so no volunteer gardening after Friday 19th December 2025 until…

 

January 2026

 

Thursday 1st January 2026 – Bank Holiday New Years day

Monday 5th  January 2025 – First day back of Volunteer Gardening on 2026
